on the actual check above, they’re in a different order, with the check number first (3611, as you can see on the upper right of the check itself). so, the middle number is his bank’s routing number and the last one is his actual bank account number. sometimes, these numbers (routing & acct) can be used to initiate transactions, such as wire transfers or automated clearing house (ACH) transfers, whatever those are, idk

the way bush era-planted purity culture stuff is flowering in gen z irrespective of ideology is genuinely interesting. everyone thinks theyre inventing independantly as a form of reaction rather than it being an instilled ideology, from all sorts of different directions and types of people. much to consider!
TBF that’s how most ideologies work, the media apparatus gives you the Legos that just happen to fit together in a certain way, but since they didn’t explicitly say “put these together in this way”, the ppl who put them together ~independently~ are more likely to feel personal stakes in that thought, bc they “made it”
That last effect is literally used in brainwashing techniques going back decades.
